Les Collines (“The Foothills”) Vineyard is aptly named. Located at the foot of the Blue Mountains, and adjacent to the Oregon border, the site is one of the most picturesque in Washington. The soils here are deep wind blown Loess (pronounced “luss”). This site was also developed by Norm Mckibben and partners.
We are excited about the strong site expression of coffee, bitter chocolate, and meaty flavors we are finding to be common to both the Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
