The Lost River Winery is a boutique, family-owned winery started in 2002 in the upper Methow Valley of Washington State.
The clear and icy Lost River tumbles down alongside our winery from the rugged snowcapped Cascade Mountains in Northern Washington State. Due to the “rain shadow” effect of the towering mountain range our summers are hot and dry. By early fall the flow of the Lost River diminishes to a trickle and eventually disappears under the cobbled river bed just as our wines are settling into barrel for a long winters rest in the cellar. With the spring melt, the river returns in concert with our wines emerging from the cellar and the journey to your table begins.

A hearty and robust Malbec with lush blueberry and spice aromas. As the name implies a massive wine with dense but supple tannins and dark color. Complex layered flavors of ripe cherry, chocolate, and mint with a deep mid-palate of blackberry flavors and a long finish.

A medium-bodied, dry white wine blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, with a hint of oak and soft textured flavors of ripe pear and lemon zest. Complex tropical fruit notes with orange blossom and peach aromas.
